Jag märker nu att det kan komma att finnas en prövning med att bo i Österbotten (eller på landet överlag) igen. Vintermörkret. De senaste sju åren har jag bott i städer, och i städer är mörkret aldrig så mörkt som på landet. Ja, vår boplats i Tammerfors var då kanske ett undantag.
Jag har inte många vintrar märkt mig påverkas negativt av vintermörkret, men det har väl hänt sig att vintermörkret gjort en tung vinter tyngre. Nu har jag inte en tung vinter framför mig, men jag märker att det blir mörkt lite väl tidigt om kvällarna. Och mörkret är så påtagligt.

Som tur tycker jag mig redan känna min Kvevlax ganska bra. Ensamma är vi inte, vi har redan hunnit bekanta oss med flera människor som bor i närheten av oss. Och visst finns det en del ljusklickar utanför vårt hem. Men jag påminns om att det finns flera orsaker till att jag i framtiden inte vill bo på en ödslig plats. Omgiven av ljus och människor vill jag vara!

Det finns en liten detalj som ibland får mig att tveka i min övertygelse om att jag vill flytta till min sambos hemby, och det är just mörkret. Det är verkligen ute i ingenstans - iofs inte mer än ett par hundra meter från huvudvägen, men kommunen släcker all gatubelysning kl 11 på (vinter)kvällarna, och vägen fram till huset har inte ens belysning över huvudtaget. Lite skrämmande känns det nog! Fast det först känns som en bra idé att gå och hälsa på sambons morbror en vinterkväll (han bor ännu en bit bort från huvudvägen) är man inte lika övertygad när man går där längs grusvägen med en ficklampa i handen och skog på båda sidor... men sen å andra sidan, när det är snö och fullmåne är det inga problem som helst :)

Why do preachers of the gospel quote men who pervert the Scriptures? Why would you ever quote these men in a positive light? Why would church leaders ever believe men who teach and preach doctrine contrary to Scripture are worthy of being quoted.

Water baptism is essential to salvation. (Acts 2:38, Mark 16:16, Acts 22:16, 1 Peter 3:21).
Why would any serious church leader quote Max Lucado in a positive light?
